Celebrating our 51st
Year in Percé
After a fairly mild winter and a rather
dreary spring, it seems summer has finally
arrived in the Gaspé Peninsula. The
daffodils and tulips are in bloom,
hummingbirds are gathering nectar at our
feeders, and thrushes, goldfinches,
blackbirds and white-throated sparrows
have returned and are marking out their
territories. One by one, the summer
species are making their appearance.
John
produced two magnificent
watercolours this winter and we have
been working on two new giclée prints to
add to our extensive collection.
In moving to
such dynamic new surroundings, John's
primary goal was to establish a studio where
he could pursue his chosen career as an
artist. Percé and the Gaspé provided an
ideal and challenging environment.
Of course,
Lucie has been knitting… non-stop. Mittens,
hats, socks, neck warmers… Always playing
with colour combinations, but lately she’s
been drawn to black and white. Visit Lucie's

We are very
proud of the work we’ve done and the quality
we’ve been offering since 1975. The La
Maisonart gallery is celebrating its 39th
anniversary this year and we look forward to
welcoming you. Our summer opening hours are
from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm every day from May
to mid-October. During the off-season, we
are generally open and available every day,
but we recommend that you contact us in
advance.
We thank you
for your continued interest and
encouragement
